'Desire' synopsis

Isabelle has just split from a long term relationship with a fairly agressive guy. Isabelle starts to recieve threatening mail a few weeks after splitting from him. She believes that he is the one sending her these letters and text messages. She begins to become paranoid and frightened, even within her own home, as he lived there with her.
She visits the police and tells them her situation. She can't carry on living in this way; she is terrified! The letters she recieves are horrifically frightening, that have been carefully and cleverly constructed- each letter cut from a newpaper to spell out a threatening message. She needs to turn her life around fast. All she wanted was to be happy, which is why she split from her aggressive boyfriend in the beginning. Unfairly, it has gone deeper into the other direction.

But does Isabelle have her facts right, or has her unhappy past with her ex increased her level of paranoia of what he could potentionally do?
